Mitchell Holds Top-25 Student-Athlete Scholar Recognition Ceremony

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Mitchell College Department of Athletics held its Fifth Annual Top-25 Student-Athlete Scholar Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday night at halftime of the men's basketball game. 

The event honors Mitchell student-athletes who have achieved the highest degree of academic success while participating in Division III athletics. The 25 student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point averages were recognized, all with a 3.6 or higher. A total of 98 Mitchell student-athletes currently maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, which represents nearly half the student-athlete population.
