Mitchell Sailing Posts Best Results of the Spring
The Mitchell College sailing team ended its season with its
best performance of the spring at the Salve Regina Southern Series
on Saturday afternoon.
In a combined division regatta, Mitchell's A Division team of Alex
Hering and Tara Chang finished 10th out of 18 teams with 86 points.
Mitchell's B Division team of DJ Pothier and Lindsay Teach finished
just behind their teammates in 11th place with 89 points.
Roger Williams won the regatta with 23 points. Other local schools
that competed at the event included UConn (second with 41
points and sixth with 63 points) and Coast Guard (third with 45
points and seventh with 70 points).
