      <title>VOLLEYBALL COMPETES AT BREWER INVITATIONAL AT VASSAR COLLEGE</title>

      <description>POUGHKIPSEE, NY - Mitchell returned from the Brewer Invitational at Vassar College this weekend, a little battered, but certainly not discouraged.  Second year Head Coach Niko Paul might not have come away from the weekend with the overall record that she had hoped for, but she was very pleased with the leadership from a few of her key players.</description>

      <title>VOLLEYBALL WINS IN THREE OVER ALBERTUS MAGNUS</title>

      <description>NEW LONDON, CONN.-Mitchell College defeated Albertus Magnus College 3 - 0 (30-9, 30-16, 30-22) to bring their record to 4-2. The Pequots were led by captain Theresa Kouris (SR, Ledyard, CT, Criminal Justice) with 16 kills and 25 service points. Kouris reeled off 18 consecutive service points in game one to overpower the Hawks. Trina Collins-Dean (SR, Westerly, RI, Criminal Justice) led Mitchell in assists on the night with 21.</description>

      <title>Mitchell volleyball sweeps Becker in three</title>

      <description>New London, Conn. - Mitchell College was able to find their way back to a win with their 3 game defeat of Becker College Tuesday on their home court.  Teresa Kouris (Sr., Ledyard, CT) showed up big tonight for the Pequots in their first win since their home win against Albertus Magnus on September 13th.  Kouris had 25 kilss, 7 service aces and 4 assists on the night.  Shayna Barnes (Jr., Tarrytown, NY) added 22 kills and 8 service aces to the pot.  The Pequots finish the night at 6-9.  Becker leaves New London with the same 6-9.</description>
