Mens Tennis Wins Close Match With Albertus Magnus
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Mitchell College men's tennis team picked up their fourth consecutive win today against non-conference opponent Albertus Magnus College, 5-4. Kyle Carmona (Norwich, Conn.) again led the way for the Mariners, as he picked up the #1 singles victory as well as the #1 doubles victory with teammate Dan Dworetsky (Glastonbury, Conn.).
The win is the first non-conference win for the Mariners and the closest match that they have had so far this season. Tyler Engleberg (Niantic, Conn), Chris White (Marshfield, Mass.), and Adam Samuels (New Rochelle, N.Y.) each won their single's match to contribute to the team's total of five wins.
The tennis team (4-0) is back in action on Wednesday, April 15th when they host non-conference opponent Post University at 3:00 pm.
