Kaftan Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Accolades continue to roll in for Mitchell College senior Eddie Kaftan (Old Lyme, Conn.), as the right-handed pitcher was recently named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region 1 All-Region Second Team. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
Kaftan was one of 47 student-athletes and 13 pitchers to earn a spot on one of the three All-Region Teams in Region 1, which consisted of players from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire.
