Dates Announced for Mitchell Baseball Camp
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College Head Baseball Coach Shawn Gilblair recently announced the dates of the upcoming Mitchell Baseball Camp for boys and girls ages eight through 14.
The camp will be held on the campus of Mitchell College at Alumni Field and will take place July 7-10 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with drop off beginning at 8:30 am each morning. Players will receive individual and group instruction from the Mitchell coaching staff, as well as from current and former Mitchell baseball players. The week will focus on development, competition, and fun for all skill levels.
Campers will need to bring a lunch and water bottle, although a concession stand for snacks and water will be provided. Athletic/turf shoes and molded/rubber cleats should be worn, while a hat, glove, bat, shorts/baseball pants are required. The cost for the week is $225, and a camp t-shirt will be provided upon arrival.
