Baseball Drops High-Scoring Battle at Keene State
KEENE, N.H. – The Mitchell College baseball team traded punches with Keene State College in a back-and-forth non-conference battle before ultimately falling, 15–13, on Tuesday afternoon at the Owl Athletic Complex.

Keene State answered with a five-run fifth to tie the game and then took control in the sixth and seventh innings, plating six runs to build a 15–11 lead.
Mitchell continued to battle down the stretch, scoring twice in the ninth on RBI from Adam Vartanian (Cumberland, R.I.) and Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.), but the rally came up short.
The Mariners finished with 13 hits on the day, led by Bracale, who went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI. Senior Kenneth Miller Jr. (New London, Conn.) added three hits and three runs scored, while Angel Rodriguez Cruz (Cidra, P.R.) chipped in two hits and two RBI.
