2018: A NECC All-Conference Second Team selection … also named to the NECC Academic All-Conference Team … team co-captain … started and played in 10 games … led the team in scoring with 32 goals and seven assists for 39 points … scored a team-high eight free position goals … recorded 22 caused turnovers … nabbed a team-high 55 draw controls … ranked second on the team with 37 ground balls … ranked among the NECC leaders in draw controls (fifth), caused turnovers (eighth), goals (ninth), points (12th) and assists (14th) … scored a goal in nine of 10 games … recorded eight multi-goal games … netted five hat tricks … in five league games she scored 18 goals and added six assists for 24 points … scored a season-high six goals in back-to-back wins over MCLA and Becker … supplied the game-winning goal against MCLA … had five goals at Albertus Magnus ... finished with four goals in league action against both Elms and Bay Path … named NECC Player of the Week on April 2.

Baseball Set to Open Play in NCAA Regional

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College baseball team will open play in the Regional Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 15, in the 2026 NCAA Division III Tufts Regional against the host Jumbos, with first pitch scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Sol Gittleman Park in Medford, Massachusetts.

Ficocelli & Manzo Earn Major Awards as Nine Baseball Players Land on All-Conference Teams

WINTHROP, Mass. – Mitchell College junior Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Co-Player of the Year, while freshman Andrew Manzo (North Haven, Conn.) earned GNAC Rookie of the Year honors, as the league announced its end-of-season baseball awards on Monday afternoon. Additionally, the Mariners had a conference-high nine players selected to one of the three All-Conference Teams.
