Six From Women’s Soccer Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Six members of the Mitchell College women's soccer team were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Honorees for the Mitchell women's team include seniors Cassandra Roman (New London, Conn.) and Taylor Bialowas (Griswold, Conn.), and sophomores Ronnie Keays (Salem, N.H.), Ava Iwasko (Sterling Heights, Mich.), Gillian Mathre (Council Bluffs, Iowa), and Cassidee Zollinger (Roy, Utah).
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale), and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's matches or started in at least 66 percent of them.
