Cross Country Races in Elms College Invitational
CHICOPEE, Mass. -- The Mitchell College men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Chicopee Massachusetts on Saturday and competed in the Elms College Invitational.
The men's team finished fourth overall, behind WNE, the University of St. Joseph, and Dean College. Albert Franck paced the Mariners finishing seven overall with a time of 31:47. Collin Rider finished in the top 20 as well, racing to a 16th place overall with a time of 34:37. Liam Robb (36:25), Tim O'Hayre (39:40), and Aldon Dawson (59:28) rounded out the Mitchell finishers in the 8K race.
Braeden Laframboise was the top overall finisher, completing the event in 28:46.
On the women's side, junior Abby Rasmussen raced her way to ninth place with a time of 30:18. Chelsea Jackson (47:18) and Alana Chapelle (56:53) also competed for the Mariners on the day.
Elizabeth Cameron from Emmanuel paced the event with a time of 25:27.
